I’m going to drink it anyway. It’s Tiger Beer, there’s really no where for it to go but up.

Beer is supposed to go down. As in, good beer goes down my gullet, the rest goes down the drain.

Call yourself happy that the bottle didn’t explode. Had to scratch so much brown ice from my freezer.

If the bottle didn’t crack, it’s good to go.
If the bottle cracked, just drink carefully.

I bought a 6pack of Zima on Friday...it was....as interesting as I remember sneaking back in the 90s

I was genuinely shocked. The cap blew off, but the bottle seems to be much higher quality than the beer.

Careful opening that, I had a similar issue with some soda. Upon opening the screw top, the ceiling was covered in no less than a god damned liter of cola.

Thankfully, the cap removed itself. I need to fish that out before it makes its way to the ice crusher.

I saw it in the store and remembered the good old days of high school bonfires. The $9.99 for a 6-pack of what I remember being mediocre even then was too much for me to consider when I can buy good beer for that price.

I’ve had that happen. It... it didn’t taste good anymore.

But beer cubes.

I did that with a canned IPA on Monday. I put it back in the fridge, and I’ll probably open it tonight to see what it did to it.

I’ve had beer do this after leaving it in the back of the truck for the hour-long drive home. It’s still drinkable, and there’s still alcohol content, but it separates as it freezes, which does nasty things to the flavours and textures.
Good luck.
Incidentally the above is why I tend towards hard alcohol in the winter. It takes a longer truck ride to freeze it.

Whiskey definitely behaves better when frozen than beer. If it doesn’t break the bottle it’s still good for mixing. It also tends more towards gelling than rock-hardness for the first little while at least.

I’ve been agitating for a while for whiskey gel like those electrolyte gels they sell at sporting goods stores.

Accidentally did this with coors light in college (truly rocky mountain cold lol). If you let it thaw just a little bit, technically the beer is stronger because only the water is frozen. Doesn’t taste any better though lol

If you think imbibing liquids chilled to -30°F is a good idea...

It’s not like, jello-levels of gel, but she gets pretty think and soupy. Only trouble is consuming it’s a great way to get frostbite on your lips, tongue, and throat.
